In March I made an infinitude scarf. I loved it so much I wanted a matching hat. I'd been eyeing the Wurm pattern for quite some time, and it matches perfectly. Both are free patterns, and both are fun. Easy, yet not boring. My favorite. Plus, the Wurm has a double thickness brim, which is brilliant. Prepare yourself for some terrible pictures. Really. They are bad. Sorry.
I used Supa yarn, 100% wool. I've been informed cooler weather is on the way, perhaps I'll get to give them a try before too long.
Take care and Happy Crafting!
Congrats on the promotion, thats very exciting! LOVE your set, they look to be a perfect pattern match!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the job :) must feel better having different hours.
ReplyDeleteThe set looks fantastic, and I love the yarn that you have used to make it :)
I've knit both of those patterns and they are great! You look fantastic in your knit wear. Congrats on the job and the promise of regular work hours!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are settling in and happy in your new home! You're in Autumn now, correct?
ReplyDeleteYes, we are in Autumn. It is still lovely and sunny, but definitely cooler, especially at night.
DeleteGreat job on the, um, job. LOL. Love the cowl and hat, I must mark that cowl.
ReplyDeleteA promotion! Oh congrats! That is excellent news, go you! Although I'm even more impressed by that scarf, it is very cute! I'm going to have to knit one of those, the pattern looks fun.
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so cute, are they twins? Congratulations on the promotion! It'd be nice not having to worry about night shifts. Do tell us what you do, your life transition is fascinating!
ReplyDeleteYes, they are twins, and just turned 7. I'm an agronomist by trade, but currently working in quality control/technology at a salad factory. You can't predict life, that's for sure!
DeleteCongratulations on the promotion. Your set looks wonderful and the pictures really aren't that bad at all. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the promotion.
ReplyDeleteAnd wurm and the cowl looks great!
Hooray for the promotion!
ReplyDeleteI love that Wurm and cowl. I've had it in my queue for awhile and even have the yarn set aside. Now that warm weather is around the corner, I'm not sure if it will get put aside until next fall. LOVE the blue you picked for your set.
Yeah......I started these when it was a bit warm, just because they were fast and I had the yarn. Now they are sitting in the closet waiting for winter!
DeleteThat is beautiful!!! You are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather, you are too nice!!
