Since I can't, I'm just going to continue to knit like a fiend. I have been happily reunited with my belongings. That means, my WIP's! I've picked up my Braid Hills right where I left off. I was able to fix the problem I caused with an extra stitch before the move, and now I'm chugging away on it.
I'm knitting this in Cascade 220 sport, in the colorway straw gold. I loved the pattern picture so much I wanted a similar color. Look at me going out of my comfort zone and trying new colors!!
I'm being pretty monogamous with my Braid Hills right now, but I thought I'd show the progress I've made on my Lempster as well.
That's all from me for now. I hope to have my Alice photographed for FO Friday! See you then.
gorgeous sweater knitting! Time really flies for me and I'm older than you! So unfortunately I think it gets worse....
ReplyDeleteoh your knitting is just beautiful
ReplyDeleteBoth of those are gorgeous - some lovely cables.
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for cables, so I'm loving your sweaters! They're both stunning.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects and I love the color on the top picture!
ReplyDeleteI like your cabling. Cables are some of my favorite knitting.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has a theory about time going faster. He thinks it is because each day/week/month/year is a smaller percentage of our lives as we get older.
