Making a pair

I'm super excited to be starting on my second Hermione sock--you know what that means?  I not only finished the Citron shawl (more on that on Friday) but I also finished the first sock.  Woo hoo, I'm on a roll.

First things first, here's the completed sock:

Second things second, here's the WIP sock.

Last things last, here's a pretty picture I took from our front garden the other day. We were having a couple of days of misty rain, which makes for some lovely rainbows.

Happy Crafting, I'll see you on Friday.

  1. I love the sock! You are going to have the other done before you know it. I'm looking forward to getting to see the finished shawl!

  2. Awesome sock :) I keep meaning to knit that pattern, is it any good?

    1. I'm a novice, and easily bored. I LOVE this pattern. Just enough to keep me interested, but doesn't require too much attention. I've been looking at her other Harry Potter socks as well--I love that the patterns are free.

  3. Your sock looks lovely, I have been busy knitting them too lately. I have put this pattern in my favourites to make for myself one day, when I have finished the Christmas knitting!

  4. What a pretty sock! I have made a few pairs for my kids but none for myself yet... I'm visiting through the KCCO link stop by to see our crafting!

  5. I love the colors in that sock. Very nice striping, too ... looking forward to seeing your shawl Friday!

  6. Lovely socks! And a beautiful rainbow. Happy knitting to you

  7. andria your sock turned out beautiful! yay for you, on to the second, well done! it is a really pretty pattern and looks great on you!
