I found this pattern on Ravelry, and it really lives up to the name of Intuitive. The repeat is so easy it is excellent TV knitting, so I ended up finishing it rather quickly after the house move was complete.
I used a different type of yarn that the pattern called for, so it didn't end up as slouchy as I was hoping, because I ran out and didn't have any more in that colour. The wool is Wendy Mode, 50% wool, 50% acrylic and it is soft and warm and lovely. I love that it is thick and warm. I love that it is reversible. I love the colour. I love the hat. Just not on me. I appear to be incredable picky about what I want on my head, so it's a good thing I like making hats!

Here is where I hop, thank you for stopping by.
Love the hat, Will have to make on myself.
ReplyDeleteWill have to look up that pattern, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove this hat!!Looks great!!
ReplyDeleteI hate bamboo needles also but I have to use them for airplane flights too. Didn't know that you could use take aluminiums through security -mmmm may try next time. I like the hat, thinking of starting some for myself in time for winter.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like the pattern, very cool :) Cute colour too
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, on both sides
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hat. It looks so soft. I wish I could even wear any knit hat. I look horrendous in hats! Oh well, my love of knitting them just means I have to find other recipients.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is adorable. Yes, I know what you mean about enjoying the knit but finding it's just not you. Well, you have a beautiful gift ready for someone special.
ReplyDeletefantastic hat!!! will have to look up the pattern! well done you :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!! The color is fab and the yarn looks so soft and warm!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great without the slouch. But I am the same way and don't keep most of the hats I knit.
ReplyDeleteCute Hat and Welcome Back!
ReplyDeleteI love the hat! it's so awesome that it's reversible too =)
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute hat, but I look ridiculous in pretty much all hats. I think it's a hair thing - I have short hair and hats make me look bald.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of bamboo needles either; only when the yarn is slippery do I use them.
Such a pretty hat! The colour is lovely!
ReplyDeletei love your hat, it's a lovely pattern and you did a beautiful job, i'm glad you were able to get on the flight with your needles. i've not had a problem either with any airlines. thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, I love this hat! I must make one. Thanks for linking the pattern. Your hat is gorgeous and the color is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI really like that - both the pattern, and the yarn you chose :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, another lovely for my ravelry queue.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I think slouchy is being overdone anyway. ;)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
i like the pattern you have used for the hat
ReplyDeleteI like the hat and I have the same problem as you - I love making hats but I'm super picky about hats for me.
ReplyDeleteGreat hat! Thanks for the linky. The pattern is printing right now. I'm always looking for patterns that would be good to show off my handspun yarn and this will certainly be one. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour hat looks really good! It looks really comfortable too!
