The picture isn't great. I wasn't very smart about picture taking and it was dark by the time I got my act together. So you can't really see the bobbles and whatnot, but you get the idea. I'm not working very fast on it, I keep getting distracted, like starting this one:
That little beauty is a Calorimetry, which I saw on someone's blog last week (or the week before), only now I can't remember on whose blog I saw it. If it was yours....thanks! This is a fast project that is using up the remaining Noro silk garden I had from a Christmas project.
Hops:
pretty projects! Is that top photo in Sirdar Crofter? I made a sweater last Christmas in the blue/grey/yellow colourway, and as well as the lovely texture it washes brilliantly (it's already a handmedown to another kid!).
ReplyDeleteGlad you have found some love for the scarf, that must make it easier to work on!
ReplyDeleteYour caliometry is looking fab, lovely colours
I read that post on the Calorimetry too and I'm restraining myself from starting one but want to so bad! The scarf is coming along nicely. It's good to have the Calorimetry to work on as well since scarf rows can get repetitive after awhile :)
ReplyDeleteI like the colors in both your projects! I'm totally going to do one of those headbands at some point when I have leftovers from a project.
ReplyDeleteI think it was Stitched Together who was knitting that gorgeous Noro Calorimetry last week, and now yours is beautiful, too. You guys are killing my resolve! Glad to hear the scarf is being friendlier these days. It's looking lovely!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great! I know what you mean about the love/hate thing. I often hate whatever I'm knitting at some point.
ReplyDeletewow that scarf it gorgeous. and i love the noro calorimetry - so so pretty!!! have a great wednesday xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn for the scarf, what is it? The calorimetry is looking good too, I've never checked that pattern out but hear lots of good things about it.
ReplyDeleteBoth your projects look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the calorimetry - the colors in it are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe texture and color of the scarf is a great combination. It's going to look wonderful. And I love your Calorimetry. I added it to my list too after seeing it last week. I think it was on the Stitched Together blog.
